Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is looking for someone to join our Process Engineering team in Manufacturing Operations as an Equipment Maintenance Specialist I in West Lafayette, Indiana.
As an Equipment Maintenance Specialist I you’ll be responsible for performing basic preventive maintenance on production equipment under moderate direction and guidance.
Process Engineering and Maintenance teams focus on optimizing manufacturing performance by improving equipment reliability, reducing unplanned downtime, and increasing operational efficiency. Working closely with engineers, technicians, and operators, they support process improvement, root cause analysis, and preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives that help Manufacturing Operations make informed decisions and solve problems proactively.
SEL designs, manufactures, and supports products and systems that protect, monitor, control, and automate electric power systems. Our technologies help detect faults, prevent equipment damage, and reduce the impact of power outages. Our mission is to make electric power safer, more reliable, and more economical.
