Quad is seeking a skilled Equipment Maintenance Mechanic to join our Martinsburg, WV facility. The Mechanic plays an essential role in helping the plant provide high-quality products and efficient service by minimizing operational downtime.

Responsibilities

1. Perform maintenance on printing press equipment, including inspections, preventative, proactive, and repair activities on bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, pumps, conveyor systems, fans, blowers, robotics, and electric motors.
2. Utilize and maintain assembly and part drawings to ensure part quality and conformity.
3. Follow SOPs and written procedures for all maintenance tasks, repairs, and rebuilds, using documentation to determine proper tensions, speeds, and tolerances.
4. Maintain a safe and clean working environment at all times.
5. Lubricate, adjust, and replace complex components and assemblies, including cylinder changes and drive train rebuilds.
6. Understand the production process and factors affecting yields and quality.
7. Troubleshoot production deficiencies and develop plans for correction and prevention through scheduled maintenance.

Required Qualifications

1. Ability to work a 12-hour rotating schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
2. Mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing or completion of a Maintenance Mechanic Training Program with skills in welding, hydraulics, blueprint reading, and math.
3. Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
4. Ability to lift 10-15 pounds continuously and up to 70 pounds occasionally.
5. Ability to stand long hours, use hands and wrists continuously, follow instructions, and identify defects visually.

Paid relocation may be available for highly qualified candidates more than 100 miles from the plant.

Compensation and Benefits

Wage range: $24.75 - $40.00/hour. We offer benefits including 401(k), holidays, vacations, and more.
