Job summary

SAGE RentalServices seeks an Installer based out of San Antonio, TX to assist with the installation of equipment on field service calls and provide exemplary service to our customers.

The role requires teamwork, safe operation of pumps and tools, ability to lift heavy loads, and a willingness to be on-call 24/7. Preferred qualifications include HDPE pipe fusion experience and a forklift certification.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old with a valid driver’s license and clean record.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Willingness to be on-call 24/7 for after-hours requests.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of equipment on field service calls.
• Operate and set up all types of pumps and equipment.
• Load and unload equipment and attachments from company and customer vehicles.
• Assist in shop/yard areas when not in the field; perform maintenance as needed.
• Support routine inspections, minor repairs, and cleanliness of equipment.

Job description

SAGE RentalServices is looking for an Install to join our team. The Installer will be based out of our San Antonio, TX office and will be responsible for assisting with the installation of equipment on field service calls, while providing an exemplary level of service to our customers.

Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

• Ability to work as part of a team/crew. Must also be expected to work without supervision to accomplish tasks necessary to complete the field call timely and successfully
• Capability to secure implements safely and precisely
• Ability to operate and setup all types of pumps and equipment
• Utilize all hand and power tools required to complete the assignment
• Unload and load equipment and attachments on both company and customer vehicles
• Assist with routine inspections, minor repairs, general maintenance, and cleaning of equipment
• Assist in the shop and/or yard areas when not in the field; variable duties assigned as needed

Preferred Qualifications (not required):

• HDPE Pipe Fusion experience
• Construction Industry experience
• Forklift certification

Requirements:

• Knowledge of machines and tools - their designs, uses, repair and maintenance
• Must be 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen
• Must be willing and available to be on call 24/7 for after-hours requests
• Driven, with problem-solving skills, a mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and a willingness to learn
• Ability to work overtime
• Ability to manage workflow in a timely and consistent manner and work well in a team environment
• Ability to lift to 50+ pounds
• Ensure company workplace safety guidelines are followed and environmental standards are practiced when on duty
