Job summary

SAGE Rental Services is seeking three dependable Field Equipment Installers to join our Deer Park team. This hands-on role supports installation, setup, operation, and removal of pumps and related equipment at customer sites while delivering responsive, professional service.

Work includes loading/unloading devices, performing routine maintenance, and coordinating with shop/yard operations. A valid driver's license, physical ability, and safety focus are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of machinery, tools, equipment operation, repair, and maintenance.
• Mechanical aptitude, problem-solving, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.
• Must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Pre-employment screenings including criminal background check and drug screen.
• Overtime and after-hours on-call rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift and carry more than 50 pounds; physically demanding work.

Field Equipment Installer

SAGE Rental Services is seeking three dependable, safety-focused Field Equipment Installers to join our Deer Park team. In this hands-on role, you will support the installation, setup, operation, and removal of pumps and related equipment at customer job sites while delivering responsive, professional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Work safely and effectively as part of a field crew and independently when required.
• Assist with the installation, setup, operation, and removal of pumps, piping, hoses, and related equipment.
• Secure equipment and attachments safely and accurately for transport and operation.
• Use required hand and power tools properly and safely.
• Load and unload equipment and attachments from company and customer vehicles.
• Perform routine inspections, cleaning, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs.
• Identify job-site needs, communicate issues promptly, and help complete service calls safely and on schedule.
• Support shop and yard operations when not assigned to field work.
• Provide courteous, professional service to customers and represent SAGE’s core values on every assignment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with HDPE pipe fusion.
• Experience in construction, industrial services, equipment rental, pumping, or a related field.
• Current forklift certification.

Minimum Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of machinery, tools, equipment operation, repair, and maintenance.
• Mechanical aptitude, sound problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow instructions, manage assigned work, and contribute in a team environment.
• Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company standards.
• Must successfully complete required pre-employment screening, including a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Must be available for overtime and participation in an after-hours on-call rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
• Ability to lift and carry more than 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work in shop, yard, and outdoor job-site conditions.
• Commitment to following all company safety policies, customer site requirements, and applicable environmental standards.

Work Environment and Schedule

This position includes indoor and outdoor work in varying weather and job-site conditions. Employees may be required to stand, walk, bend, climb, push, pull, and lift throughout the workday. Reliable attendance and flexibility to respond to changing operational needs are essential.
