Job summary

SAGE Rental Services in San Antonio, TX is seeking an Installer to join our team, responsible for assisting with the installation of equipment on field service calls and delivering exemplary service to customers.

The role involves teamwork, operating pumps and equipment, loading/unloading, basic maintenance, and being on call 24/7. Must lift up to 50+ pounds, pass background check, and have a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of machines and tools - their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.
• Must be 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.
• Must be willing and available to be on call 24/7 for after-hours requests.
• Driven, with problem-solving skills, a mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work overtime.
• Ability to manage workflow in a timely and consistent manner and work well in a team environment.
• Ability to lift to 50+ pounds.
• Ensure company workplace safety guidelines are followed and environmental standards are practiced when on duty.

Responsibilities

• Ability to work as part of a team/crew. Must also be expected to work without supervision to accomplish tasks necessary to complete the field call timely and successfully
• Capability to secure implements safely and precisely
• Ability to operate and setup all types of pumps and equipment
• Utilize all hand and power tools required to complete the assignment
• Unload and load equipment and attachments on both company and customer vehicles
• Assist with routine inspections, minor repairs, general maintenance, and cleaning of equipment
• Assist in the shop and/or yard areas when not in the field; variable duties assigned as needed
