GMB Powerline Services LLC in West Virginia seeks a Mechanic & Equipment Superintendent to oversee the shop mechanics, fleet, tool and parts inventory, and maintenance programs supporting planned utility work and storm restoration.

The role directs maintenance and repairs, ensures vehicles and tools are safe and deployment-ready, and coordinates with Fleet Services, Field Operations, Logistics, Safety, and Finance to minimize downtime and maintain readiness for emergencies and projects.

Competenze

High school diploma required.
Minimum five years in automotive, diesel, or heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
Experience supervising mechanics or shop personnel and managing maintenance priorities, parts inventory, vendors, and repair records.
Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems; ability to read manuals and schematics.

Mansioni

Oversee mechanics, shop and field personnel; direct tooling, inventory and shop operations.
Schedule work orders, manpower, and field coverage; monitor repair quality and timekeeping.
Train and coach staff; hire onboarding and enforce safety, workmanship and documentation.
