Job summary

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in construction equipment management or related field.
• Commercial construction experience strongly preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of construction equipment, vehicles, trailers, small engines, and tools.
• Experience coordinating preventative maintenance, repairs, and outside service vendors; troubleshoot equipment problems.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction equipment, vehicles, trailers, tools, and related assets; maintain records and inspections.
• Coordinate equipment deliveries, look-ahead schedules, and rentals to control costs.
• Establish procedures for reporting damage, repairs, and tool loss; ensure proper use and care.
• Assist with budgeting, capital planning, and major expenses related to equipment.
• Ensure safety compliance with OSHA requirements and coordinate operator training as needed.
