Job summary

Insituform Technologies LLC, an Azuria Company, seeks an experienced Equipment Manufacturing Technician to fabricate structural equipment from blueprints and work orders. The role includes welding, rigging, lifting heavy objects safely, and performing maintenance on shop equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or technical school diploma required.
• 3+ years hands-on fabrication/welding and troubleshooting experience preferred.
• 3+ years with utility construction and mechanical experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate structural equipment from blueprints and work orders.
• Welding, fabrication, rigging, lifting heavy objects safely; operate forklifts and lifts; cut with torch and plasma; assemble and paint; general repair of shop equipment.
• Complete and submit shop work orders and utilization reports daily or as required.
• Assemble wiring of electrical components on equipment including wireway and conduit runs.
• Diagnose and repair electrical or mechanical malfunctions; perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Move parts and heavy frames on and off machinery within the facility.
• Other duties as assigned.
