Job summary

Accelevation LLC is seeking a Welder to fabricate, assemble and repair metal structures using various welding techniques. You will interpret blueprints and welding symbols, set up parts, and ensure precision and quality through grinding, finishing and testing against specifications.

The role requires 1 year of hands-on welding experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a safe, collaborative, high-energy shop environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1 year hands-on welding and fabrication experience including cutting, welding/brazing, drilling, marking/engraving; dissimilar metals a plus.
• Proficient in welding safety, filler selection, processing parameters, fixturing.
• Familiarity with metallurgy, weld joint analysis and backing gas applications.
• Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plans details of work orders; gathers tools and materials per instructions.
• Repairs and fabricates items using cutting, burning and welding techniques.
• Monitors welding, burning and fitting to avoid overheating, warping, distortion.
• Prepares, assembles and tack weld parts and surfaces to be welded.
• Maintains, organizes and cleans equipment and work area.
• Notifies Team Leader of faulty equipment or materials.
