Job summary

Polar Semiconductor, LLC is seeking an Equipment Engineer Intern in Bloomington, MN for a 12-13 week on-site program. The role focuses on equipment engineering, Power BI, and documentation within a highly technical team.

You will work with WINSQL to develop Power BI dashboards, support documentation updates, and gain hands-on experience with equipment repairs and continuous improvement projects in semiconductor manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Technical writing skills.
• Ability to effectively and clearly communicate concepts, ideas, and knowledge to other individuals and teams.
• Strong attention to detail including analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• MS Office capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop Power BI dashboards from WINSQL data and reporting.
• Collaborate with Equipment Engineers to improve or create documentation.
• Gain knowledge of equipment repairs and improvements through maintenance activities.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to improve equipment availability and reduce cost.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
