Job summary

Polar Semiconductor is seeking an Equipment Engineer Intern to support documentation and improvement projects in semiconductor manufacturing. You will work with equipment engineers to enhance documentation, develop Power BI dashboards via WINSQL, and gain hands-on experience with daily maintenance and CIP projects.

The role focuses on equipment engineering, Power BI, and cross‑functional teamwork within a highly technical environment.

Qualifications

Students working towards a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering Technology, or other semiconductor/manufacturing related fields.
Technical writing skills.
Ability to effectively and clearly communicate concepts, ideas, and knowledge to other individuals and teams.
Strong attention to detail including analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
MS Office capabilities.

Responsibilities

Develop Power BI dashboards using WINSQL databases.
Collaborate with Equipment Engineers to improve or implement documentation.
Gain hands-on knowledge of equipment repairs and daily maintenance activities.
Drive continuous improvement projects to boost equipment availability and reduce costs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
