Job summary

LG Energy Solution Michigan Inc. is seeking an Equipment Engineer I to support equipment breakdown analysis, drive line efficiency, and teach controls concepts at the Matteson, IL facility.

You will work with production teams to optimize performance and ensure reliable operation of manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 1–3+ years of hands-on experience with installation, modification, and testing of tools and machines, plus strong Excel skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3+ years of experience with installation, modification, analysis, repair and testing of tools, machines and other equipment.
• Experience analyzing equipment breakdown data.

Responsibilities

• Analyze OEE for breakdowns and uptime; report on OEE and yield.
• Support production work orders for technology-based improvements and monitor equipment post-improvement.
• Install new line technology (e.g., lasers).
• Complete daily documentation and audits as required.
• Follow established work instructions and safety requirements.
