Job summary

Silent-Aire is seeking an Equipment Designer to create and maintain detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings for custom HVAC equipment and modular infrastructure. You will work with Design Engineers, Project Managers, and Manufacturing to turn requirements into manufacturable designs.

The role focuses on BOM management, assemblies, and production documentation, ensuring accuracy, revision control, and compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in Mechanical Design or related field.
• 6+ years experience in mechanical equipment design in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with sheet metal design and fabrication processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings for HVAC equipment.
• Develop BOMs and assembly drawings.
• Collaborate with Design Engineers, Project Managers, Manufacturing teams.
• Ensure drawing accuracy and revision control.
• Support design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide engineering support for manufacturing and prototype builds.
