Job summary

Silent-Aire, a division of Johnson Controls, seeks an Equipment Designer/Drafter in York, PA to create and revise 2D drawings and 3D models for HVAC equipment used in data centers. You will translate concepts into precise documentation using Inventor, Creo, and Revit while collaborating with engineers and project managers.

Ideal candidates hold a mechanical design diploma and 2–5 years CAD experience, with strong GD&T knowledge and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• College diploma in mechanical engineering design and drafting technology or related field.
• 2–5 years of CAD drafting or design experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce and revise 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software (Inventor, Creo, Revit).
• Interpret sketches, specs, and notes to develop accurate technical drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers and managers to capture design intent.
• Maintain drawing accuracy with version control and standard drafting practices.
