Job summary

Fabick Cat in Missouri is seeking a Demo Operator to support the sales team with product demonstrations, site evaluations, and customer events. The role includes operating demonstrations, training customer operators, and showcasing Cat equipment capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and mechanical skills, experience with Caterpillar products, and the ability to work with customers and sales staff across field operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate Degree or Professional Certification in a related discipline preferred.
• Three to five years of related experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude required. Knowledge of Caterpillar equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the merchandising of Fabick's complete product line. Demonstrates proper operating technique and highlights capabilities to enhance sales opportunities.
• Train customers' operators on controls, systems, safety procedures, and maintenance.
• Perform deliveries and follow up with customers to ensure proper operation and satisfaction.
• Inspect equipment and appraise potential trade-ins, and assist in used equipment evaluations.
• Participate in trade shows and events; stay current with product offerings and market knowledge.
• Assist other departments with testing, troubleshooting, and service support; possibly assist in light maintenance.
