Job summary

Liberty Medical Specialties in Durham, NC is seeking a full-time Equipment Delivery Technician to support home medical equipment delivery.

The role involves organizing routes, delivering patient orders, inventorying supplies in homes, demonstrating equipment use, performing pickups, servicing equipment, and ensuring safety; on-call opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• Must lift 75+ pounds and be able to stand and drive for long periods.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
• High school diploma required; drug screening is mandatory.

Job description

Liberty Medical Specialties, a leading provider of home medical equipment, supplies and services, is looking for a full time EQUIPMENT DELIVERY TECHNICIAN in DURHAM, NC!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting with organizing delivery routes and preparing daily distribution route sheet
• Performing individual delivery of patient orders
• Conducting in-home patient supply inventories
• Demonstrating correct equipment operation and maintenance procedures to patients, caregivers, clinicians, etc.
• Performing pickups of supplies and equipment at the completion of patient therapy
• Servicing various equipment: concentrators, oxygen, patient aid devices, wheelchairs and various other DME
• Assisting in the cleaning, inspection of, and performance of functional tests of Durable Medical Equipment (DME)

**Due to the physical nature of this position, must have the ability to lift 75+ pounds, as well as the ability to stand and drive for long periods of time.**

Other MUST HAVES:

• Valid Driver's License
• High School Diploma
• Clean Driving Record
• Must Pass Drug Test

FULL TIME ( 40 hours/week M-F) with on-call opportunities to supplement hours/income.
