Job summary

Liberty Medical Specialties is seeking a full-time Equipment Delivery Technician in Durham, NC. You will organize routes, deliver orders, conduct in-home inventories and demonstrate equipment operation to patients and caregivers.

Must lift 75+ pounds, hold a valid driver's license, maintain a clean driving record, and pass a drug test. Benefits include health and life insurance, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO and paid holidays.

Job description

Liberty Medical Specialties, a leading provider of home medical equipment, supplies and services, is looking for a full time EQUIPMENT DELIVERY TECHNICIAN in DURHAM, NC!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting with organizing delivery routes and preparing daily distribution route sheet
• Performing individual delivery of patient orders
• Conducting in-home patient supply inventories
• Demonstrating correct equipment operation and maintenance procedures to patients, caregivers, clinicians, etc.
• Performing pickups of supplies and equipment at the completion of patient therapy
• Servicing various equipment: concentrators, oxygen, patient aid devices, wheelchairs and various other DME
• Assisting in the cleaning, inspection of, and performance of functional tests of Durable Medical Equipment (DME)

Due to the physical nature of this position, must have the ability to lift 75+ pounds, as well as the ability to stand and drive for long periods of time.

Other MUST HAVES:

• Valid Driver's License
• High School Diploma
• Clean Driving Record
• Must Pass Drug Test

FULL TIME ( 40 hours/week M-F) with on-call opportunities to supplement hours/income.
