Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the face of our service and help customers throughout their journeys. You will inspect and maintain equipment, assist customers, and use U-Scan technology to dispatch and return equipment.

The role offers on-the-job education, opportunities for advancement, and benefits including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plans. Training is provided for propane filling and forklift operation as part of employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Ability to assist customers and use U-Scan technology.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including fluid checks.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment).
• Other duties as assigned.
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
