Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Equipment Associate at a local branch. You will support service technicians, sales staff and other branch personnel by providing labor assistance and maintaining equipment readiness for rental.

You will inspect, prepare, and demonstrate equipment for customers, and may drive a delivery truck to pick up or drop off gear. The role emphasizes safety and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Effective communication, multi-tasking and teamwork are essential.
• Strong customer service orientation and safety focus are required.

Responsibilities

• Check equipment for damage, hours used, mileage and fuel level upon return.
• Inspect rental equipment for safety decals and good working order.
• Clean equipment and maintain a clean work area.
• Load and unload rental equipment and prepare equipment for rental.
• Checkout and demonstrate equipment for customers and drive delivery truck as needed.
