Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Equipment Associate to perform a range of manual tasks supporting branch operations and service technicians. The role focuses on safety, equipment readiness, and excellent customer service as you assist in delivering rental gear to customers.

You will inspect equipment, maintain cleanliness, assist in loading/unloading, and drive a delivery truck where required. This position emphasizes teamwork and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Commitment to safety and customer service.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Check equipment for damage, hours used, mileage and fuel level on return.
• Inspect safety decals and ensure equipment is safe to operate.
• Clean equipment and maintain a tidy work area.
• Load/unload equipment and prep for rental.
• Demo equipment to customers and drive delivery truck as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
