Job summary

United Rentals, the world's largest equipment rental provider, is seeking an Equipment Associate to assist service technicians and sales staff while performing a variety of manual tasks to keep the branch running smoothly.

You will check equipment for wear, load and unload gear, demonstrate equipment to customers, and drive a delivery truck as needed. This role offers advancement possibilities into our Driver and Service Technician programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication, multitasking and teamwork skills expected.
• Safety awareness and customer service focus essential.

Responsibilities

• Check equipment for damage, hours used, mileage and fuel level on return.
• Inspect equipment for safety decals and working order.
• Clean equipment and maintain a tidy work area.
