Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Equipment Associate to support branch operations. You will assist service technicians, sales staff, and other team members, ensuring equipment is ready for rental and meets safety standards.

The role offers development opportunities through our driver and service technician programs. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, a valid license, good communication, and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential.
• Attention to safety and customer service are priorities.

Responsibilities

• Check equipment for damage, hours used, mileage and fuel level upon return.
• Inspect equipment for safety decals and proper function.
• Clean equipment and maintain a tidy work area.
• Load/unload equipment and prepare items for rental.
• Checkout and demonstrate equipment; drive a delivery truck as needed.
• Other duties assigned by the supervisor.
