Job summary
United Rentals is looking for an Equipment Associate to support branch operations in Louisiana. You will provide labor assistance to service technicians, sales staff and other branch personnel to meet customer needs.
The role focuses on equipment checks, safety inspections, cleaning, loading/unloading gear and demonstrating equipment to customers. A safety-sensitive position with opportunities for advancement within the Driver and Service Technician programs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Good communication and teamwork skills are essential.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Check equipment for damage, hours used, mileage and fuel level upon return to the branch.
- Inspect rental equipment for safety decals and compliance.
- Clean equipment and maintain a clean work area.
- Load and unload rental equipment and prepare equipment for rental.
- Checkout and demonstrate equipment for customers and drive a delivery vehicle.
- Other duties assigned as needed.
