Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Equipment Associate to support branch operations and labor for service technicians, sales staff, and other personnel. You will perform a variety of manual tasks to ensure smooth operation and contribute to customer readiness.

Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, loading/unloading, and demonstrating gear to customers, as well as driving a delivery truck for pickups and drops-offs. This role emphasizes safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Focus on safety and adherence to safety policies.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Check equipment for damage, hours used, mileage and fuel level upon return to the branch.
• Inspect rental equipment for safety decals and compliance; ensure good working order.
• Clean equipment and maintain a clean work area.
• Load/unload equipment and prepare it for rental.
• Checkout and demonstrate equipment; drive a delivery truck for pickups/drop-offs.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
