Job summary

Summit Line Construction is seeking an Asset Coordinator to join the Phoenix team. This role supports coordination, tracking, documentation, and management of rental equipment, fleet vehicles, power tools, and assets across locations.

You will work closely with the Fleet Manager, project teams, vendors, and field operations to ensure accurate records, timely transfers, and cost-effective deployment, with travel to job sites up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or related training in business, logistics, construction management, fleet operations, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years in equipment or tool rental operations or related field is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and asset management systems.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain asset records across multiple locations and update tracking systems.
• Track asset assignments, transfers, rental status, and return needs across sites.
• Conduct regular physical inventory audits to verify location and condition.
• Coordinate equipment delivery, pickup, staging, transfer, and return logistics.
• Travel to multiple job sites (up to 50% of the time) for audits and reconciliations.
• Support rental sourcing by coordinating with vendors and evaluating quotes.
