Job summary

Summit Line Construction is seeking an Asset Coordinator to join our Phoenix team to manage rental equipment, fleet vehicles, power tools, and company assets across locations. You will maintain accurate records in Excel-based systems and coordinate transfers to support project needs.

Work with the Fleet Manager and vendors, conduct regular inventory audits, monitor rental agreements, and ensure proper storage and rapid deployment. A detail-oriented, data-driven mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or additional training in business, logistics, construction management, fleet operations, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in fleet operations, equipment or tool rental, logistics, construction administration, warehouse operations, or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of construction equipment, rental processes, fleet management, power tools, and field support needs.

Responsibilities

• Asset Inventory and Tracking across all locations; maintain accurate records in tracking system.
• Track asset assignments, job numbers, locations, transfer history, rental status, and return needs.
• Conduct regular physical inventory audits; identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor rental agreements, expiration dates, and off-rent confirmations.
• Coordinate equipment deliveries, pickups, transfers, and returns with vendors and field teams.
• Travel to multiple job sites to conduct equipment counts and resolve on-site logistics issues.
• Support the rental sourcing process by coordinating with vendors and ensuring compliant orders.
• Maintain detailed records of asset maintenance and compliance documents.
• Provide clear documentation and system updates to all teams.
