Job summary

Airgas is hiring an Equipment Assembler in Piscataway, NJ for the day shift from 9AM to 6PM. You will contribute to building and testing standard and customized gas handling equipment and ensure products meet customer orders and published specifications.

Responsibilities include assembling, testing, and maintaining equipment, following SOPs and safety rules, collaborating with the team, and supporting inventory and repair activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 6 months to 1 year related experience.
• Experience with hand tools in a clean work environment.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and to effectively present information.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test gas handling equipment to meet published requirements.
• Operate production facilities in alignment with SOPs, drawings, quality, safety, and documented requirements.
• Monitor equipment performance and support routine adjustments, maintenance, and repairs.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve shared operational goals.
• Share insights and issue findings to foster proactive solutions.
• Maintain overall quality of equipment produced and assist in return/repair processes.
