Job summary

Airgas in Cherry Hill, NJ is hiring a Production Associate (Cylinder Loader) for the 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm). The role loads/unloads cylinders, inspects for safety, and ensures proper labeling and handling of hazardous materials. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, mechanical aptitude, safety awareness, and at least 1 year of related experience. SAP and ERP familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude and commitment to safety protocols.
• Minimum 1 year of related technical experience; equivalent education allowed.
• Able to follow OSHA and Airgas safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload high-pressure and liquid cylinders on/off trucks according to procedures.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack; move cylinders to designated areas.
• Inspect cylinders for defects and ensure proper labeling and storage.
• Read cylinder labels and color codes to identify contents and hazards.
• Record type and quantity of cylinders; assist with equipment upkeep.
• Follow government and company safety standards for hazardous materials.
