Vetcor in Gainesville, TX is seeking an Equine Veterinary Technician/Receptionist to join our growing equine practice. This hybrid role blends hands-on patient care with client service, scheduling, and farm call coordination.

You will assist with examinations and procedures, handle equine patients, document medical information, and help clients understand care plans. Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with a lunch break, competitive compensation based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as a veterinary technician, preferably with horses.
• Strong client-service orientation and communication skills.
• Experience with medical records, appointments, and clinic workflow.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with examinations, procedures, and surgeries.
• Safely handle and care for equine patients.
• Obtain histories and vital signs; administer meds and vaccines as directed.
