Job summary

Caesars Entertainment is seeking an Equine Maintenance support role at Indiana Grand Racing & Casino in Shelbyville, Indiana. This position assists the Equine Maintenance Department with cleaning and upkeep in a fast-paced horse racing environment, and requires the ability to work outdoors in varying weather and lift up to 75 pounds.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old and able to obtain an Indiana Horse Racing Commission license, with availability across various shifts, including weekends

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning, janitorial or housekeeping preferred, but not required.
• Must be familiar with a variety of the field concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, and possess good interpersonal skills.
• Must be at least 16 years old and be able to obtain an Indiana Horse Racing Commission License.
• Must also be available to work various shifts, weekends and holidays.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for supporting the Equine Maintenance Department with a variety of tasks and job duties. Adheres to all Indiana Grand Racing & Casino service and operating standards. Job duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Cleaning all necessary areas for backside track
• Ensuring all cleanliness standards
• Maintaining all needs for restroom facilities
• Trash removal, etc…

Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
