Job summary

RTX seeks a Process Engineer I for the McKinney, TX facility to support RF microelectronics packaging and SMT in a state-of-the-art cleanroom. You will install and qualify new equipment, drive process improvements, and collaborate with product, quality, reliability, and tooling teams.

The role requires a STEM degree and up to 2 years of experience, with hands-on SMT exposure and familiarity with IPC/J-STD standards. Onsite work with growth opportunities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM with less than 2 years of experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience with automated SMT machines.
• Experience with IPC, J-STD and military standards and other engineering data packages.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support for high-volume SMT production, addressing equipment and process challenges.
• Use SPC and DOE to develop and maintain controlled processes and update process documentation.
• Support new product builds with automated equipment and drive process improvement projects.
