Job summary

Texas Instruments in Sherman, TX is seeking an Epi Process Development Engineer to own the development, integration, and qualification of Epi for the LBC11 flows, enabling ramp from development to high-volume manufacturing. The Epi processes you develop will run on every wafer at SMFAB.

You will work with process, integration, reliability, packaging and test engineers to achieve these goals and partner closely with vendors to bring industry-changing improvements to SMFAB.

Qualifications

• Experience in epi process development and semiconductor fabrication.
• Strong data analysis, DOE, and design of experiments skills.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication.

Responsibilities

• Drive Epi process and device improvements through characterization, DOE, data analysis and simulation.
• Collaborate with process, integration, reliability, packaging and test teams.
• Align with product groups to optimize performance for final device parameters.
• Partner with vendors to bring improvements to SMFAB (PPH, cycle time, uptime).
