Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or closely related field.
• Three (3) years of professional experience in emergency management or public health preparedness.

Responsibilities

• Identify, organize and facilitate stakeholder groups among safety and emergency management professionals and responders; communicate emergency plans during emergencies.
• Plan and facilitate community planning sessions to develop a strategic direction for healthcare preparedness and response.
• Analyze emerging data, trends and activities; prepare reports for federal, state and county officials and grantors.
• Prepare publications, reports and official documents; assist in planning surveillance systems and data files; develop technical information.
• Lead investigations for infectious disease outbreaks; establish prevention and control measures; prepare detailed response plans.
