Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an Epidemiologist Data Scientist to support epidemiologic studies, surveillance programs, analytics, and data modernization initiatives. You will independently conduct analyses, interpret findings, and contribute to data products improving public health outcomes.

You will design analysis plans, perform descriptive and multivariable analyses, develop dashboards, and mentor junior staff while collaborating with clients and stakeholders in a dynamic consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or MPH/MS with relevant epidemiology/public health experience.
• Experience conducting analyses on large-scale public health or healthcare datasets.
• Experience interpreting and communicating findings to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct epidemiologic analyses using diverse health datasets.
• Develop analysis plans, statistical methods documentation, and analytic reports.
• Perform descriptive, longitudinal, and multivariable epidemiologic analyses.
• Translate findings for technical, operational, and executive audiences.
• Design data quality rules, surveillance indicators, and performance measures.
• Develop dashboards and data visualizations using modern analytics tools.
• Support data modernization and automation of analytic workflows.
• Contribute to scientific manuscripts and dissemination products.
• Provide guidance to clients and project teams.
• Mentor junior staff and support quality review of deliverables.
