Guidehouse is seeking an Epidemiologist Data Scientist to support epidemiologic studies, surveillance, and public health data modernization. You will independently conduct analyses, interpret findings, and contribute to data products that improve public health outcomes.

You will develop dashboards, validation rules, and analytic workflows while mentoring junior staff and collaborating with clients and teams. A strong background in epidemiology and SAS/R/Python is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of epidemiology or related experience.
• Experience with large public health datasets.
• Proficiency in SAS, R, Python or SQL.
• Ability to communicate findings to diverse stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Conduct epidemiologic analyses using diverse health data sources.
• Develop analysis plans and technical reports.
• Produce descriptive, longitudinal and multivariable analyses.
• Translate findings into actionable insights for teams and executives.
• Design data quality rules, indicators and performance measures.
• Create dashboards and data products with modern analytics tools.
• Mentor junior staff and support project quality reviews.
