Job summary

Aerodyn Ltd in Indianapolis, IN, is seeking an Epicor Resource / Machine Shop Scheduler to own the production schedule for our high-paced aerospace machine shop. You will align job routers with machines, ensure Epicor reflects real shop floor activity, and safeguard on-time delivery in a dynamic R&D environment.

In this central role, you’ll work with the Shop Floor Supervisor and manufacturing leadership to resolve scheduling conflicts, confirm tooling and staffing, and continuously improve

Qualifications

• Experience in a job shop manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Epicor or similar MRP/ERP systems.
• Strong communication with all departments.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and changing priorities.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure when issues arise.

Responsibilities

• Manage Epicor Kinetic production schedule and keep it accurate.
• Match job routers to machines based on capacity and specs.
• Verify personnel, hours, tooling, fixturing for upcoming jobs.
• Review and release production jobs in Epicor.
• Track part status with Shop Floor Supervisor and update schedule.
• Identify capacity for new orders and flag conflicts risking on-time delivery.
• Meet with leadership to resolve scheduling constraints.
• Log recurring scheduling issues and drive resolution.
