Job summary

Stamford Health is seeking a Clinical Systems Analyst I to act as the primary technical partner for EpicCare Inpatient Clinical Documentation and related clinical systems. The role involves configuring, maintaining, and optimizing systems to meet regulatory, operational, and patient care needs within Stamford Health System.

The position requires evaluating workflows, leading testing cycles, and providing Tier 2/3 support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical training required.
• Strong experience implementing and supporting HIS applications in a hospital/health system.
• EpicCare Inpatient Clinical Documentation certification preferred.
• Experience with Epic applications strongly preferred.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, written and verbal communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for EpicCare Inpatient Clinical Documentation and related clinical systems.
• Design, configure, build, maintain, and support EpicCare Inpatient Clinical Documentation functionality.
• Analyze and optimize clinical workflows.
• Monitor application performance and provide ongoing support.
• Manage interdependencies between Epic and other systems.
• Support regulatory and organizational requirements through configuration updates.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with supported applications.
• Participate in projects, upgrades, and workflow redesigns.
• Develop and execute test plans for upgrades and deployments.
• Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams to support implementation activities.
