Job summary

Stamford Health is seeking a skilled Epic Hospital Billing Analyst to serve as the primary technical and operational partner for Hospital Billing within the Stamford Health System. You will ensure Epic Hospital Billing functions meet regulatory requirements and support accurate billing, with responsibilities spanning configuration, testing, and workflow optimization.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
Minimum 1 year’s Epic Hospital Billing experience is required.
Epic Hospital Billing Certification or ability to obtain within 12 months of employment.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Ability to work within a team environment.

Responsibilities

Serve as SME for Epic Hospital Billing module, including charging, charge routing, GL, and statements.
Design, configure, build, and maintain Epic Hospital Billing workflows and functionality.
Analyze and optimize workflows to improve efficiency and revenue cycle performance.
Monitor system performance and address risks impacting billing and operations.
Lead testing and documentation during upgrades and deployments.
Collaborate with revenue cycle, IT, clinical, and external partners to align workflows.
