Qualifications

• Epic Willow certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Configure, build, implement, and maintain Epic Willow applications.
• Analyze pharmacy and clinical workflows to identify requirements and optimization opportunities.
• Translate operational requirements into technical specifications and application configurations.
• Conduct system testing, QA, release analysis, and data validation.
• Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate resolution with technical/operational teams.
• Support go-live activities, stabilization, and ongoing production operations.
• Develop user training materials and provide end-user training and support.
• Maintain application documentation, internal procedures, and change control processes.
• Collaborate with team leads, pharmacists, clinicians, and stakeholders.
• Support integrations and workflow improvements across the EHR environment.

Maximum Bill Rate: $100-110/hour

Location: Non-local candidates will be considered

The ideal candidate will have hands-on Epic Willow support experience, strong application build skills, and the ability to collaborate with clinical and pharmacy stakeholders to optimize workflows and improve system performance.

• Configure, build, implement, and maintain Epic Willow applications.
• Analyze pharmacy and clinical workflows to identify application requirements and optimization opportunities.
• Translate operational requirements into technical specifications and application configurations.
• Conduct system testing, quality assurance, release analysis, and conversion data validation.
• Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate resolution with technical and operational teams.
• Support application implementations, go-live activities, stabilization, and ongoing production operations.
• Develop user training materials and provide training and support to end users.
• Maintain application documentation, internal procedures, and change control processes.
• Collaborate with team leads, managers, pharmacists, clinicians, and other stakeholders.
• Support application integrations and workflow improvements across the electronic health record environment.
• Epic Willow certification is required.
• Hands-on experience supporting Epic Willow applications.
• Experience with application configuration, build, testing, implementation, and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of clinical or pharmacy workflows.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver projects within established timelines.
• Experience providing end-user support, training, and go-live assistance.
• PharmD (Doctor of Pharmacy) degree preferred, but not required.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy, medication management, or healthcare IT.
• Experience with Epic application optimization and clinical system integrations.
• Experience supporting large healthcare organizations or academic medical centers.

UCSF requires a full medical examination for all onsite or hybrid candidates. Although this role is primarily remote, onsite work may be required on a rotational or alternative basis, as determined by the hiring manager.
