Job summary

TEKsystems seeks a Sr-level Epic Willow Ambulatory and Willow Inventory Analyst for a remote contract role supporting an Epic implementation with a targeted go-live in March/April 2027. The specialist will design, build, configure, test, and optimize Willow modules, coordinating with pharmacy leadership and clinical stakeholders while maintaining documentation and reports.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Epic pharmacy experience, certifications for Willow Ambulatory and Willow Inventory, and

Qualifications

• Epic Willow Ambulatory and Willow Inventory experience is required.
• Epic Willow Ambulatory Certification required; Willow Inventory Certification required.
• 5+ years of Epic pharmacy application experience.
• Experience supporting Epic implementation projects.
• Strong build and configuration experience within Willow Ambulatory and Willow Inventory.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, configure, and support Epic Willow Ambulatory and Willow Inventory applications.
• Participate in implementation activities leading up to the March/April 2027 go-live.
• Collaborate with pharmacy leadership, clinical stakeholders, and operational teams to gather requirements and develop Epic solutions.
• Configure and maintain medication records, dispensing workflows, inventory management processes, and pharmacy-related system components.
• Analyze current-state and future-state pharmacy workflows and recommend Epic best practices.
• Support testing, workflow validation, user acceptance testing, and go-live readiness activities.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely resolution of build and workflow concerns.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, build specifications, and testing materials.
• Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on progress, risks, and milestones.
• Deliver weekly status reports outlining accomplishments, upcoming activities, risks, and blockers.
• Support optimization efforts and post-build enhancements throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Work with other Epic teams to ensure integration across workflows.
