Job summary

Cascadia Health in Portland, OR seeks a Training & Development Specialist I to design, deliver, and support training across the People & Culture team. You will onboard new staff, manage LMS activities, and facilitate live and virtual sessions focusing on OCHIN Epic and other health IT systems.

The role emphasizes hands-on coaching at multiple Cascadia sites, collaboration with agency partners, and promoting trauma-informed, inclusive care while ensuring compliance and high-quality staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Two years of experience providing training or teaching skills; healthcare/behavioral health preferred.
• Strong communication and instructional skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate in-person and virtual orientation training for new hires and provide foundational technology training.
• Develop and deliver training covering LMS, EHR, MI, ProACT, and DEI to staff across Cascadia.
• Lead or support multi-day trainings such as ProACT and CE-approved sessions when applicable; ensure compliance and documentation.
