Job summary

Parkland Health and Hospital System seeks an experienced trainer to develop and deliver Epic training programs for business operations, including patient access and revenue cycle. You will apply adult learning theories and instructional design to ensure staff competency.

You will partner with stakeholders to create learning solutions, maintain curriculums, and support system changes. This role focuses on onboarding, ongoing education, and ensuring successful adoption across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
• At least two years of training, leading, and coaching experience.
• Epic user experience with business applications preferred.
• Must earn proficiency or certification in an Epic business application within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Leads analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of learning solutions.
• Facilitates classroom training on business workflows in the electronic medical record and related systems.
• Provides training expertise through consultations with stakeholders to determine learning solutions for projects.
• Collaborates with cross-functional experts to integrate workflows, technologies, and standards of practice.
• Maintains training curriculum through observations, Epic documentation, and stakeholder cadence.
• Leads training workstreams on onboarding programs.
