Job summary

MaineGeneral Medical Center is seeking an Epic Training Coordinator to oversee enterprise-wide Epic education, ensure user readiness, and support successful implementations.

You will coordinate training schedules, manage registrations and records, and partner with Epic trainers to develop materials and learning environments. This role requires strong organization, communication, and collaboration with clinical teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in healthcare, IT, education, or business administration.
• Experience coordinating training programs, educational activities, projects, or operational initiatives.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; ability to document and report clearly.
• Ability to collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical teams; work independently when needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate enterprise-wide Epic training schedules, courses, and enrollment.
• Manage training logistics, records, attendance, completion data, and reporting.
• Coordinate communications, including registration instructions and reminders.
• Partner with Epic trainers to prepare materials and training environments.
• Support change management and end-user readiness during implementations and upgrades.
• Monitor training completion and identify barriers to readiness.
• Provide administrative support to the Epic Training team and initiatives.
