Methodist Health System in Dallas seeks an Epic Trainer to serve as an expert for Epic workflows and train clinical and non-clinical end users through one-on-one and classroom sessions, in person and via Zoom. The ET will coordinate training across departments, be a primary contact for end users, and travel to Methodist hospitals and affiliated clinics within the DFW area as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare informatics, nursing, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent work experience in healthcare can replace the educational requirement.
• Credentialed in an Epic Application Module (ASAP) preferred; otherwise credentialed in primary Epic Application within first three months.

Responsabilités

• Works collaboratively with team members and informs leadership of events pertaining to the operations of assigned Epic applications.
• Conducts one-on-one and classroom training sessions for new and existing end users, delivered in person and via Zoom.
• Schedules and delivers Epic desktop and mobile application training and personalization sessions for newly onboarding providers as well as existing Epic users.
• Provides go-live support for new hospitals and clinics to ensure a smooth Epic implementation and transition for end users.
• Provides at-the-elbow support for new providers, offering real-time guidance and troubleshooting to assist with Epic workflows and system adoption.
• Provides ongoing support to end-users, troubleshooting issues and addressing concerns related to Epic software.
