An established industry player is seeking a Technical Product Manager to join their Digital Experience team. This pivotal role involves overseeing the technical lifecycle of core products, ensuring they align with the product management roadmap. In this role, you are a vital member of the Digital Experience team and responsible for the technical lifecycle of all core products within the division. You will develop and maintain products that enable the product management team’s roadmap while helping to envision, define, and design the future of our portfolio.
This role requires someone who is passionate about solving complex problems and who will push boundaries, influence strategy, and have a strong impact on product execution and quality. The Technical Product Manager will be instrumental in ensuring our portfolio is proactively maintained and developed as well as map out how new products integrate and impact the existing ecosystem. In addition, you will set the overall technical vision for the platform and ensure that resources are properly allocated between maintenance, implementation, and innovation.
The TPM will manage a team of analysts who support the core products within the division. They will analyze business operations during build decisions and prioritize requested changes to applications in partnership with the applicable Product Manager. The Technical Product Manager also manages software updates, feature releases, and product testing. They will also deliver regular updates to internal leadership and stakeholders on release progression, including any challenges or alterations to the release plan.
The TPM must have exemplary communication and presentation skills and a history of delivering successful products, projects, and/or programs. They must work well under short timelines and be able to deliver iterative value. A successful candidate will have a highly analytical demeanor, be comfortable with abstract or ambiguous requests, and be able to translate them into actionable work items for their team.
This position is remote within the state of Texas. Employee must travel on site quarterly for strategic planning and periodically per the direction of the Vice President of the division.
Education:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is required.
Experience:
Required:
- Agile or lean experience/certification preferred (PSPO, CSPO, SAFe POPM, or similar)
- Epic certification required within 6 months from employment, including 2 test retakes. If position does not support Epic, then a bachelor’s degree is required in lieu of an Epic certification.
