Thomson Reuters Special Services (TRSS) is looking for you!

About the Role

Lead software development of TRSS’s ScoutFocus, a graph visualization and analysis tool based on large data sets. Engage with teams across TRSS to understand and grow the product aligned with strategic goals. Interface with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet requirements and capabilities. Be proactive, mission-oriented, and committed to quality work for customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Deliver: Manage planning and execution of deliverables, measuring performance against data organization and KPIs.
  2. Develop: Drive the strategic roadmap of ScoutFocus in line with technical and business visions.
  3. Collaborate: Work with cross-functional teams, share information, value diverse ideas, and mentor colleagues.
  4. Innovate: Explore new approaches and technologies, understand user feedback to improve adoption.
  5. Inspire: Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, promote ScoutFocus adoption.
  6. Guide ScoutFocus development, including data warehousing, quality, and architecture.
About You

You are a good fit if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, technology management, or related field (relevant experience may substitute).
  • 3+ years as a software development/technical lead or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Java, SQL, and front-end/UI frameworks.
  • Deep knowledge of graph databases or extensive experience with graph-like data in relational databases (Snowflake preferred).
  • Bonus: Experience with AI, Machine Learning, NLP technologies.
  • Leadership experience in fast-paced environments, stakeholder engagement, software demonstrations, agile management, problem decomposition, R&D planning, guiding teams, and excellent communication skills. Diverse experience across problem spaces, companies, and cultures is valued.

In the US, the base salary ranges from $116,900 to $217,100, with potential bonuses based on performance. The role may include additional benefits and total rewards. The posting closes on 05/26/2025.
