Job summary

Stamford Health is seeking an Epic Technical Manager to lead the Epic environment strategy, change control, and upgrade planning. You will coordinate with Information Services and clinical teams to ensure successful deployments and compliance.

Strong leadership and healthcare domain knowledge are essential. The role includes staffing, performance planning, and driving process improvements to enhance patient care and data integrity across Epic modules.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum 8 years of experience implementing and/or supporting Epic to improve patient care.
Minimum 5 years of leadership experience.
Two Epic certifications including one in Beacon, Beaker, Cupid, or Radiant.
Completion of Epic CEE to maintain certifications and proficiency.
Experience managing staff in a matrix-management model.
Experience working with clinicians, especially physicians.
Strong leadership, communication and diversity advocacy.

Responsibilities

Lead Epic environment strategy and change control planning.
Coordinate Epic upgrades, updates, and build migrations with IS and clinical teams.
Assist with implementation, documentation, and go-live support for new Epic modules.
Develop and mentor staff delivering analysis, build and project delivery.
Provide guidance on clinical workflows and informatics integration; ensure HIPAA and CMS compliance.
