Job summary

LCMC Health in Louisiana seeks a Systems Analyst to analyze user requirements, procedures and problems to automate clinical functions and to improve the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and related systems, meeting regulatory standards and user needs.

The analyst will design and build within assigned applications to support providers, staff and patients, ensure security and efficiency, and collaborate with leadership to communicate progress and risks.

Qualifications

• EPIC certification required within 90 days of hire.
• 4 years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma or 2 years with an Associate's Degree.
• Experience in healthcare IT, teaching, or training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and install upgrades or new implementations for assigned systems.
• Troubleshoot application issues to determine best resolution.
• Maintain documentation reflecting current system state and configurations.
• Communicate progress and risks to leadership and customers.
• Ensure systems comply with regulatory standards and security.
