Job summary

OhioHealth seeks a Systems Analyst Epic to design, build, test, train, deploy, and support Epic applications, optimizing clinical and operational workflows. You will translate business requirements into reliable Epic configurations, integrations, and reports, ensuring patient safety and compliant revenue cycle operations while meeting SLAs.

Collaboration with IT and operational teams is essential. The role encompasses both Application Build and Application Training, with emphasis varying by team

Qualifications

  • Experience with Epic applications and healthcare workflows.
  • Strong requirements gathering and workflow design skills.
  • Familiarity with ITIL, change control, SDLC, governance; knowledge of waterfall/agile methods.
  • Ability to communicate with clinical/operational stakeholders and support teams.

Responsibilities

  • Engage stakeholders to gather and refine requirements and design Epic build.
  • Create and maintain specs, logs, and design docs for traceability and change control.
  • Conduct gap analyses for upgrades or new initiatives.
  • Support small projects and enhancements under guidance.
  • Develop and execute unit, integration, and UAT test plans; log defects and provide evidence.
