Job summary

OhioHealth in Columbus is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst Epic to design, test, and deploy Epic configurations. You will work with clinical and operational teams to translate requirements into reliable Epic builds, integrations, and reporting, ensuring patient safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient operations.

You will lead training and mentoring for analysts, manage projects using ITIL/SDLC practices, and coordinate releases, testing, and go-live support across the IT portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 5-7 years of experience in system analysis and support within a healthcare environment.
• In lieu of degree, 10+ years of experience in system analysis and support within a healthcare environment.
• Epic application experience required.
• Familiarity with ITIL, SDLC, and waterfall/agile project methodologies.
• Ability to communicate with clinical and operational stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements and design Epic builds aligned to goals and policy.
• Create and maintain specifications, logs, and design documents.
• Lead projects with waterfall or agile approaches.
• Develop training materials and mentor analysts.
• Configure records, security, workflows, and deployment artifacts.
• Coordinate testing, release management, and go-live support.
• Ensure data integrity, interfaces, and downstream workflows; support audits.
